Toddler Bed...What a Big Boy!

Nolan is now officially in his "toddler" bed. (Next step will be his big boy bed.) He is doing great staying in bed and not getting out. Although my threatening him might have something to do with that! Ha! Just kidding, but he hasn't had any issues what so ever since we made the official switch. Yea for Nolan!!

Here he is "pretending" to be asleep...

Peeking out to see if I'm watching him...

He is still so excited to get into his bed for both nap times and bed times.
The only draw back for me is that now he wants me to read his stories to him while I sit on the floor next to the bed. Not fun for a pregnant momma! I've begged and pleaded with him to go sit on the comfy sofa that is in his room, but no such luck! :( Oh well, at least I'm not having any issues with him sleeping in his new bed.
Oh, and by the way, isn't the little mini bed stinkin' cute, especially with his little night stand right next to it?!?!? :)

Anyways, Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!

Mother's Day 2008

Happy Mother's Day! I had a great Mother's Day evening in which Patrick made me a yummy steak dinner (see pic below!) Well, I just have to say that I am so very blessed to have the best little boy that a momma could ask for!

Dinner...Yum!
Nolan and Patrick played ball in the kitchen while I attempted to eat each and every bite on my plate!

Some pics of Nolan and Momma...

Silly Nolan...

Hugging momma...
Kissing baby sister; what a sweetie!
Here's pregnant momma at 28 weeks along...
Almost Done!

Happy Mother's Day!

Central Texas Air Show

We went to the Central Texas Air Show in Temple, Tx. Nolan had a great time.

Nolan with Uncle Dennis...

Since the Blue Bonnets...

Sorry for the delay in posts, but life just goes by so fast! Anyways, here are some things we have been up to...

Nolan LOVES to go get "No-cones" on early Sunday evenings,
Momma does too! ;)
Playing in the playroom.

And using the toy bins as play toys.

I should have seen it coming, but shortly after this picture, he was running around with the bin covering his eyes and he ran smack dab into our cabinets in the kitchen. Poor kid, but survived! :)

Reading time with Dada. Too cute!

Play dates with friends. Here's Nolan and Ty.

And here's Nolan and Joshua. They were watching the landscape guys mow the greenbelt behind our house. Nolan LOVES to watch him go back and forth, excited each time. Oh to be a kid again...
Wrestling with Joshua. :)
Let's take a break from Nolan, shall we?!?! :)
I made this diaper cake for my friend Suzi for her baby shower
and it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself...
Yes, I'm "tooting" my own horn! :)

Here are the pregnant girls...

Our first of this season minor league baseball game at the Dell Diamond.

Nolan used his birthday money to buy a John Deer gator.
Nolan calls it his "tractor." He LOVES tractors too!

Nolan with a goatee (sp?) after eating a chocolate covered donut. :)
Nolan's new choo-choo train hat.

What a handsome boy...

And he likes to listen to music in his new monkey ear headphones!

I hooked them up to an old walkman today for his "portable" listening pleasure! :)
